i've got a new F20 M Sport in Estoril Blue on the way, and i'm looking to follow picus' article on preping the car myself. I've built a list of resources to purchase to do my own prep, i opted out of the guardex paint protection they put on your paint (£400!), so i can do it myself with my own sealant

Could you guys take a look at my shopping list and tell me if i've selected any dud products?

Can't be a great help, I'm a bit out of touch but consider the Meguiars Endurance Tyre Shine. Always worked well for me.

Hi, firstly you don't say what colour the new car is? Is is important as there are products out their to enhance specific colours.
My products comprise of the following.
Built hamber soft clay
Iron x
Three stage menzerna cutting compounds (+ rotary and da)
Prima amigo
Chemical guys mirror wet finish (great on dark cars)
Dodo juice purple haze pro
V7 detailing spray.

Car looks perfect to me
