19x8.5 tire recommendation/problems

hi guys, im running on stance sc5 19x8.5 et 35 with 235/35 tires. Feels like im running on rims, not enough meat on the tires. Can someone recommend me another set of tire size that will have a lil more meat to it ? thanks...

ALSO, one of my tire in the front driver size is making some weird noise. The noise im referring too is like tires full of mud rolling on a pavement or tires going on flat rolling. But, my tires are fine. What could it be ? can someone point me to the direction on what to do or knows what im talking about? thanks

is it bad to put two type model of tires in the front from the back?? i have an awd 325xi sedan

its not bad, but not recommended to mismatch as long as they are the same size, but wouldnt do it personally for a long time. i would recommend a 245/35 for a 8.5, that way the sidewall will offer a bit more protection and not be rolling over itself if you were to run something like a 275 on 8.5 LOL.. you could even run a 255 tire (same rear size bmw uses on their zsp package wheels in the rear which is 8.5 ) with a squared sidewall, just remember all tires run differently, some are rounded, squared, wider, etc. im a fan of the conti's or federals u had..im running a 235 on 9.5 right now and because of the stretch the sidewall is nice and firm.

yea that's what im thinking...doing 245 so my tire will hover over my rim for some protection...but i need more meat..whats a good combo ?

nothings going to beat a michelin ps2 or super sport in terms of sidewall meat and perform above excellent imho man..honest truth. just don't run TOO wide, thats when things get "mushy".

try out a 40, itl work. remember the wider you go..and how it affects rolling diameter differences though. fwiw, a 275 general compared to a 255 general is going to look alot meatier.
