1 yard for all pieces but 2 yards to be on the safe side...so 72" x 12"...I am going to order some thru ebay...

but does anyone know which ones are closest to the brushed aluminum that comes from the factory please? thanks

6. apply adhesive all edges and wrap around all edges....sometime you need to let the adhesvie for about 1 minute before they start bonding affect.

7. let it sit for 5-8 mins before you double check all edges and corners all
fine. Done!! (During this 5-8 mins wait time, you can work on the other piece.)

Before you actually glueing, you should pratice stretching and pulling the fabric on the corners before applying glues. This will give you an idea when you actual doing with glue.

Has anyone had experience with the longevity of DIY wrapping? I live in Phoenix and its pretty damn hot in the summer, especially inside a car.

I have done my rear doors trims (aluminum) last spring: after one Summer with the car left in the sun for about 12 hours every day, I can say that everything looks like the first day I did it.
