Folding Mirrors on Lock/Unlock

I have a 2006 325i with the folding mirrors option. Just wondering if anyone knows how I can make the mirrors fold when the car is locked and unfold when the car is unlocked.

Mate...just hold down the lock button when locking the car, the mirrors should retract with the mirrors folding back out when you hit the unlock button.

It does not work for me. I hold the lock button for more than 30 secs, only the doors locked.

I don't think the mirror folds upon locking the car. I also have electric folding mirrors on my car, it only folds when you press the folding button inside the car.

I'm pretty sure the 2006 build year were the last year to have this feature...really not too sure why BMW decided to remove it.

Since this works for some and not for others it must be a software option. Is this possibly an option that the dealer can enable?
