There's 1 man standing between us and legal tints...

You think they would lose revenue from not being able to ticket for tints anymore? This would be the only thing holding it back.

No way no how we ever get to that bullshit. It's not about seeing a doctor, the real problem is with surgery. Can you image waiting 6-9 months to have an operation that if you had insurance could have been done inside a month? Not to mention the quality of doctors will deteriorate, as it has in some parts of Canada. Who would want to go to (and more importantly pay for) med school when they'll be a ceiling as to how much money you'll make? Sorry I just think there are other improvments that could be made to our country besides this garbage...End rant

Haha true. I've got free coverage for the rest of my life with the VA, being as disabled as I am from the Corps. Anyway, my first trip to Edward Hines VA Hospital with severe chest pain, I get to the ER around noon on a weekday, and wait for 6 hours before I'm seen. Upon finally arriving in the examination room, the doctor asks me how long I was waiting. I reply "6 hours". His reaction: "Wow you must be special or really lucky, normally it's 9 or more"....

After waiting 2 hours at the pharmacy window for my meds (with only one guy in front of me), I went home and decided to sign up for my PPO at work. I'd much rather pay for good care than get shitty care for free. I only go the the VA for refills on scrips or to get new meds, but if it's an emergency, or anywhere near potentially serious, you can bet your ass I'm going to the civilian care facility. That is, until Universal Health care makes the civilian experience identical to that at the VA.

That is bascially what the morons pushing universal health care preach - just like Medicare or VA for all. One politician had the audacity to say that doctors initially opposed Medicare, now they support it. No, we were told we had no choice and now we work with it. Really, we go to work and it is a part of what we loathe.

When did Health Insurance/Health Payments become a right?

I heard a quote saying,"The way to judge a society is the way it treats its sick." Wow, great euphamism. Weren't the bleeding hearts just saying,"The way to jusge a society is by the way it treats its criminals." Or how it treats its dumbest members of society, by giving them welfare checks and free services as a reward for taking it easy and not taking responsibility for their outcome.

But I digress. I want tints.
