That's cool. Cobb was my top choice before I decided to try out the BMW PE software.
I also just got in on the group buy for the P3 vent gauge so I can finally measure boost numbers on my car. I'll be anxious to see what I am pulling with the BMW PE software. (Wonder if I can swap my DME out and put the original one back in and see what it was stock???) Also just ordered the BMW PE exhaust and it should be in this week! Whoo hoo!

Cobb may someday bring out the AT Pro for the N54....then take over to Andrew and let the fun begin.
I would say at sea level, piggy > flash because of their features and upgradeablility (that a word?), but at high altitude, they just seem to not be as reliable or smooth. |

I run the COBB AP personally on my own car and I love it as well. Glad to hear that you're enjoying the tune and of course the increased horsepower/torque gains!

You will love the PE, believe me. Ive been super busy or I would have stopped by for ya to hear, but I think it will be what you want. Just have them adjust the hangers as much as possible for a straight fit, it kind of makes the tips angle down and sit down a bit from stock, they dont sit "up" into that tip spot very well because they get SUPER hot, but they dont look quite as good hanging so low, IMO. So if you can get a happy medium thats best bet. My car with the stock E92 tips has them in regular location since the dual wall allows for heat dissipation. Believe me, those thing single wall tips get REALLY hot.

Your suspicions would be correct. It did a little bit on mine. What I really wanted were tips like the Akrapovic, 3.5-4" dual wall and rolled, but I could not find ANY in what I wanted that werent either marred by a logo or they had a resonator in them, so in the end I figured just putting the stock ones back on would work, because the thinness of and look of the tips that came on the PE just wasnt for me. These are what I have left showing how it looks, this was after adjustment I believe, because at first they were a little off center.

COBB targets load = more boost at altitude than sea level. Piggy absolute boost everywhere.

So does that mean if its targeted for 12psi at sea level, wouldnt it still target for 12psi here? Im confused.
