That is one ugly car, isn't it just like the current X3, do we really need another Chelsea tractor?!

Who will buy it?

If they are keeping the x3 I really don't see the point of it, why don't they make a 4wd 3 series instead? Isn't the x3 about £20,000?

Think so yes, but as already mentioned in today's world what is the point of it? American market only maybe? But then you could argue what is the point of the X6?

Don't get this 'X' series of vehicles. Once upon a time Chelsea Tractors were cool both sides of the pond. Now with fuel prices and road tax they are quickly becoming obsolete.

BMW see the $$$$$ in 'X' Series but won't do a M3 Touring, M3 CSL or introduce 4 wheel drive 3 series into the UK.

Looks like you could turn it over and see "Tonka" stamped on the bottom. Not a fan of an X series at all.

X3 starts at 30K guys, if this genuinely starts at 20K they`ll sell tons. Just look at the Nissan Quashquai.

Thumbs down

I havn't seen it written in this thread, but the only way that BMW can produce the 'X' Series is because they used the 4X4 technology from when they owned 'Land Rover'!

And, the only reason they took on 'Rover' was so they could get there hands on 'Land Rover'.

Still the 'X' series is 'Great' if you have 'Kids' to take to school or maybe you are a 'Drug Dealer'!

I can't stand these "pretend 4X4s" - proper 4X4s are built for Off Road use these cars are not.

Anyway, this X1 concept to me does look better than that awful X3 thing.

The X5 screams Chavvy drug dealers car at me and the X6 is just a horrible, horrible car which I can't even discribe.

Don't see why anyone would want a 4X4 when they don't go off road but each to their own.
