Given that this hi-fi system is the the third level in the range of 4 available (the fourth being the BMW High-end Individual), I'd say I'm satisfied... but not amazed either! I wonder why BMW is so negligent with their stock audio systems... I was lucky enough to hear how CRAPPY the 2 lower in the range sounded so as to not order one of those and upgrade to this Harman/Kardon system instead (the High-end Individual however is 2x more expensive). It seems though that the entire audio system range is actually made by Harman/Kardon, the quality of the speakers making the difference.

Yup these 284 multiple spoke rims are imo the best looking 17" of the range and ideally suit our luxury oriented configuration (mostly the dark color with chrome elements)

No, you can chose from Azuritschwarz (Azurite Black), Rubinschwarz (Ruby Black), Mondstein (Moonstone) and Aventurinsilber (Aventurine Silver) on the E9x range

In my personal opinion, Ruby is a little too weird and the other 2 greys are a little too classical for a luxury oriented wagon (although I love Moonstone on the sedan and coupé), while Azurite looks all the while classy and distinguished yet neither on the boring side, nor on the weird side

Haven't found better looking 17" rims on the range than these 284

They are very much adapted to a luxury oriented configuration like mine (dark paint, light interior, chrome...). On my Luxury Pack E91 I only had the choice between the 284 and the 286, and the 286 are more sporty like.
My second favorite after the 284 are the 285, but I couldn't get these on our Luxury Pack anyway, so no regrets.

Indeed, a great deal

It's pretty amazing to walk around the car when it's exposed to the sun as the background color slightly changes with the angle of view, from almost black to dark "plum purple" (unexposed side) to dark "oil blue" (exposed side), and the bright sparkling "jeans blue" pigments are surfacing wherever the sunrays hit the bodywork at a certain angle.

simply amazing colour. It's funny to see somebody going for the executive luxury look whereas many on the forums go for sporty with bodykits and huge wheels. anyway, looks great!

This is the ONLY other Azurite Black E91 that can be found online except mine so far. It also has an Individual interior, but not the same engine though
