i am getting price quote of about 250$ each. It's been while since i had my last car tinted and wanted to see if i am in line.

Damn.....rip off! I've had tint with lifetime warranty run between 160-200 on 4dr. Not talking about the cheap stuff that turns purple after 4 years.

I'd say that's relatively in line - but maybe a tad on the high side. I have Madico tint and it was $220 for my e90.

Its all about location location location...I know for a fact that VA is normally higher than most tint shops in MD.

I paid $250 for ceramic tint llumar. That's the best price for one of the best tints out there.

texas, florida and california prices are much more inexpensive.

I don't want to pay 150-170$ for inexpensive tint. Which I have seen change colors.
but i want to make sure i am getting good tint and they are good for at least 7 years etc.

thanks!

In md you can't get away with that dark. 35% is the lowest we can go. Llumar is amazingly good tint. I it ceramic because of idrive. If you dont have that, don't spent more than 150 for all around plus sunroof.

I have 5% on 3 vehicles, 5% on previous vehicles and I have never had to remove or gotten a ticket for it. You can do 5%, just dont give the cop a reason to be a dick about the tint

Hello,
I'm most time in M3 forum, but here info I have used:

NO LIMITS MOBILE WINDOW TINTING 571 251 5735.(Lifetime warranty)

I have used this company already twice. The guy will drive your location and do that. He has done a good job so far for both my vehicles.
I don't work for this company and don't share any profit with this company. It's not a promotion, but just personal recommendation for fellow BMW M3 owners.

I paid last time 100 for two front windows with removing old tint. Tell him that you are from guy owns jetblack BMW with very dark tint.

That stuff that used to turn purple has not been around for awhile now.
But keep at around 35% as a finished product.
Remember car glass already has some factory tint in it.
So if you put on 35% you will get about 25-27% finished %.
The lower the number, the darker the tint.

I can speak to this as I had to remove my tint to pass the MD safety inspection. Tried two times to get it certified and had readings of 30 and 27.5 with 35% 3M CS tint.

Yeah so true. When I was in MD I had this same problem. Such a bummer.

Not sure if this helps but I had a 2002 accord coupe and got it tinted for $140; good labor and quality quantum tint too back in a well-known California tint shop ...
