N54 or not?

Am I mistajen or is there a certain year of the 335 that was a single turbo? If there was, what years are those?

N54 has two separate turbos

N55 has one turbo with twin scroll.

2011 was the year the 335i started with the N55

All 335i's and xi (2006-2010) had the N54.

After 2010, only the 335is had the N54 (2011-13).

Most people who like to mod cars like the N54 over the N55. The bi-turbo lends itself to higher performance possibilities.
