Thanks for your input.....I dont think most people on here have a clue what there talking about when someone asks for help and they criticize without any valid point.

I already got the sundown saz1500v2 which takes a 160a fuse but the current draw from it very low compared to other amps the same size. I also got the ssa xcon 15. Now all I need is a hi lo converter and i am debating with that audiocontrol piece and this...

By the way, about your enclosure size question... here is a pic of mine. It is a sealed 1.15cu ft enclosure. My floor is raised over an inch due to the amps, and there is still room in the right hand corner for more enclosure space.

You be the judge on this, but from the looks of it, the volume you are looking for is not going to be an issue. Also, since your box is going to be sealed and probably stuffed with polyfill, I doubt that shape is going to matter and so you should be able to obtain the req. volume while retaining trunk space.

Do you ahve the ski pass?

That stinger loc is just a regular passive convertor it would be no different than the scosche one I linked a few posts back but it says it only takes 55 watts per channel now I dont know which sound system you have but logic 7 puts out 70 watts per channel to the underseat subs, you would probably be fine with the stinger but I think the scosche would be a better option if you decide not to get the audiocontrol because it takes 80 watts per channel.

if you ahve the hifi sound system, you don't need a LOC and you can solder up RCA connectors directly onto the HU outputs. On my car, the front outputs are a low-level balanced signal, full range, with PDC and navigation and car gongs, and the rear outputs are full range flat but with nothing but music (no beeps)
With the Hifi system some T connectors would do just fine.

For L7, you would need to tap into the signal after the amp since the HU is hooked up to the amp via an optical connection. I'm pretty sure any cheap LOC would do just fine as it is just passive. The stinger mentioned above would be fine.

So... hifi = no LOC required, hook up directly to amp
L7 = stinger loc

If you have no tweeters or center channel you have the base system.
If you have tweeters and no center channel you have hifi.
If you have a center channel you have logic 7.

The center channel is just a speaker in the middle of the dash you wont miss it.
