Happy E-Maps Customer!
Just had my recently acquired 335d Touring remapped by Simon at lunch. Massively impressed. Simon knows his stuff and the map has put a rocket in the car! Funtimes.
Really pleased I went with a 335d rather than a 320d that I originally set out to buy |

He's one of the nicest blokes you'd ever wish to meet very very straightforward to deal with nothing is too much trouble the only issue you'll have with him is the demand for his services. He's that good. |

350bhp and 700nm torque (525ftlb?).
Throttle is more responsive and low down has bags of go, no real lag - certainly no more than previously. Definitely recommended. Haven't had a chance to really drive it but a quick blast and then the motorway home showed it was definitely quicker - flew up the slip road and foot down at crushing speeds it just goes. Remap should have been 299, I got it for slightly less as I roped a colleague in for a deal on his 320d at the same time. |

Couple of tanks of fuel in now and still properly chuffed. Fuel economy is at least as good. Actually recorded the best I've seen (38mpg) on a quick run up the M5 over 160 miles or so.
Let my brother have a spin in it (he has an E46 330i) and he was impressed. Took it for a few smokey powerslides (hooligan)! |

Hoping to get my E90 320D done by Simon, i have emailed him to see if he is coming up to the north east any time soon, just waiting for him to come back to me.
I don't suppose there are any more members reading this in the north east and are thinking of getting a remap, the more he has to do in one area the cheaper it is i believe. |

Anyone out there had there E90 320d done by Simon, mine is the 163bhp version. EDIT- just noticed someone on here called emaps, obviously thats Simon. Last edited by Z3man; 01-03-2013 at 05:31 PM.. |

Wouldn't mind getting my 325d done at some point but unsure of the figures.

Simon is a sponsor over on BMWland, and regularly attends group mapping meets all over the UK,where remaps can be bought for what is a bargain, even his normal prices are considerably less than others. Sadly, after being threatened and abused by another member, who also ran/runs a tuning/mapping company, his (Simons) life on here was made intolerable, and he asked, yes HE asked to be banned. A great shame,as Simon is a great Guy,as honest as the day is long with a wealth of knowledge, that he will readily divulge for no financial gain. I would recommend Simon over all the other companies out there, his maps are as good,if not better than others, and from my own experience, you get in terms of power returns, what he advertises.

I have met Simon a couple of times and a really nice genuine bloke, I have recommended him to loads of people who have been happy with the service and the results.
I have had 2 cars done by him I think, definitely did my 123d, and that was really impressive. |

Thanks for the info guys, it's a shame Simon can't come on these forums anymore after being threatened and abused, it seems strange what has happened as people only seem to have good thing to say about him on here and the other forums i have been on.

Well Simon hasn't come back to me yet, he did reply to my first email when i was asking for some info, but then i replied asking if he was coming up to the north east any time soon, but he hasn't replied yet. But i have been having second thoughts anyway, because if i need the remap removing at short notice for any reason, Simon wouldn't be able to do it due to the distance.
I emailed Sedox performance in Sunderland who are only about 30 miles away over the festive period and they haven't bothered coming back to me at all, so i will forget about them. I have just noticed i have Teesside Motor Factors a Superchips remap agent very close to where i work, so that would be very handy, does anyone here have any experience with Superchips, they have been around a long time so they should know what they are doing. |

Simon isn't the quickest of responders but will always reply and when you've agreed a date he will be there. When I arranged mine he had been to and fro to Germany for development so took slightly longer to reply.
I'd be tempted to stick with it as so many people recommend him particularly for E90s |

I know this is a stab in the dark but do we have an Idea of power gains for a 325d (197hp)? I only ask because I see figures here and there and they are totally different.
