your reasoning is sound; also 224/45R17 is the recommended size for winter tires.
I am hoping that a Style 157 will fit in the BMW spare tire bag, because if my spare wheel matched my winter wheel setup that would be fantastic (in case one gets messed up.) That is a 17x8" wheel however. I currently have a donut in there bought from Tischer because they are local to me and therefore I didn't have to pay shipping. I am hoping that if I go that route that I can store my jumper cables etc. inside the wheel (I have them currently in a round bag that looks like it was meant to do just that) along with the jack, lug wrench, etc. |
