Went with the 2.5" in/4.0" out/7.0 long. Installed them at Hi-Flo Custom Exhaust in Manassas, VA. $60. They did a great job, fast and friendly. Warren installed mine and he took his time to make sure they were flush.

I just purchased these last night, 25 dollars for both shipped. Seem to be the same thing. 2.25x4x7. It is a good deal, figured I'd pass it along before the price jumps. Last edited by WTF?; 04-02-2017 at 10:23 PM.. Reason: Wrong inlet size |

They are 2.25 in, but that is not an issue. I saw the machine the muffler shop uses to increase the diameter. If I had known that before, I would have chosen these cause I believe these are brushed, not polished. Please post pictures.

Been reading this thread for about half an hour and some people are using 2.25 inlet some use 2.5 so which is it lol. I went outside and measured my 08 335 and going into the stock tips looked like 2.375 so now I'm really confused, what size will slide over the stock piping so I can weld on the new one.

I would say 75% was reduced by adding in the J Pipes.
I have seen people suggest adding sound deadening to the underside of the car above where the muffler sits, apparently there is a gap that if you block, stops drone entering the car chassis. Using this kind of stuff http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/192098399...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT I havnt had a look whats under the car yet.

Thanks for the insight on the pipes, I've been reading up on those for a few weeks now so it was good to see someone pull the trigger..

Oh please note, I also have two resonators in my mid pipes, im N55 so there was no cats there, but I added resonators in which may also be helping the drone.

These tips look great! I'm thinking to gets these too. A few questions. How are they holding up? Still look good? Does the 2.25" restrict exhaust flow at all? I guess same size as stock pipe? We're you able to keep your exhaust flap? Any sound increase? Thanks |

Purchased some tips from aliexpress.
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3290...6b451802a8GRwv The length 7" Length was perfect (no cutting from shop) 2.5" inlet and 4" outlet (63MM IN 101MM OUT) Shop was able to just cut off the stock tips and mock them on and welded them. The quality seems pretty solid, pretty happy with them considering i only paid $67CAD. |
