With v 2.1, downpipes, front mount, intake, with just these mods that I'm going to install. I will find out, I want to race an E60 M5. stock of course.
With just the Procede V2, I barely beat an E39 M5 but I pulled on the 400 hp one. That 335 is fast to beat the E60 M5. 335 was in front.

335 will lose after 120.
V10 with mods will walk a stock Gallardo most likely.

The run below is without intake. You cannot see 335i getting behind at 120-140mph. Add upgraded intake and 335i can be even faster 120-140mph. Stock intake is limiting the output beyond 350whp.

997 tt is a sports car. It needs to be fast in the corners as well. This, however, means that they have more drag and 4wd induces a lot more drivetrain losses at high speeds. Luxory sedans beat sports cars in a straight autobahn. Hit a curve and the downforce, wide tires (causing drag in the straight) + 4wd of Porsche pulls easily.
Anyway the logs from Swedish airfield show that 160km/h - 250km/h is 19 seconds for all of the following cars: 997TT, 335i tune+catted DPs+exhaust and e92 M3. M5 touring is a few tenths faster at 18.3s (touring has a higher drag than sedan that playes a major role at these speeds). |

hahahahahah there are a lot of variables, but the two most important factors are still weight and hp....youre fast, but reality has to set in at some point.......search for videos.....walked u has raced a 997tt from a roll, ....each was 2-3 cars....as for a dig.....awd should win easily but this is beside the point......im thread jacking and making a childish argument |

Since you often drive below 120MPH and not only straight line, no wonder Porsche is generally speaking a lot faster. Last edited by Lane; 04-02-2008 at 06:47 AM.. |

Sorry I havent been on the boards lately. Work has been owning me.
But ya that video is really old. I think that was done right when I got the v2 and custom tune back last year. Heres the latest and probably the last video I did with the 335. Ok going back to work. P.S. If you do a search theres a video of me vs a 997TT. I can only stay even up to 125/130 mph then it owns me pretty good. From a 40 roll in 2nd. Sorry, no more videos

Are you parting out the Hello Kitty stickers? I hear each one is good for 14whp.
PM me if interested.

It's nothing like comparing a geo vs a lambo. I'm assuming your car is stock (or you don't know how to drive). A well tuned 335i with 15 PSI or so runs pretty much the same times as a stock e60 M5 in 0-60, 1/8th mile, 1/4 mile, etc. Don't believe me, check out dragtimes.com Above 120 the m5 has the advantage, although even that can be debated. Above 140, no question, advantage m5. |
