All Brembo upgrades use "some" other car's brakes.
On BMW's people have used Porsche calipers, etc.
Brembo has their bolts in a vertical orientation and BME uses a horizontal bolts to attach caliper to carrier. Brembo calipers need adapters.

The Brembo calipers that BMW uses on performance brakes have a special flange area to use horizontal bolts to mate with stock caliper carriers.
