Failed E-test - Help!

Hey guy's,

Need a bit of help for those who have passed their catless N54's for etest.

Car is a 2007 N54, Catless, JB4, intake.

I reset the codes a few minutes before the test to make sure it was clear and set JB4 to Map 0.

The OBD2 test results came back with "Not Ready" and is effectively a fail. My mistake, lesson learned.

They told me because I reset codes, I need to drive 300-600kms for the car to reset and be in a ready state.. I find that hard to believe.

Any advice or knowledge to know how many kms I need to drive before the car is in a "Ready" state again? Is there any way to check this with JB4 and the app?

If the car is in a Not Ready state the second time I test, I need to result to a sniff test, which will certainly fail.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Happened to me the first time I did emissions FBO. You half to drive the car for 3 days on map 0 and you need a Downpipe fix.

I thought since I'm running a JB4, I didn't require the DP fix?
At least that is what I read on these forums.

Ok there is some wrong information in this thread

first of , everytime you reset codes you need to drive the car for a few days for the codes to be ready. Also there are scanners that check for obd readiness

https://www.amazon.ca/Innova-3100i-D...+2+scanner+abs

that is the one I have , so you can actually scan the car before you go for e test and you can surely know if you are going to passed or not

Lastly you should not need a DP fix like someone said in this thread as you are allow to have one parameter or monitor in the non ready state. I have catless headers and I have one " failed" monitor and I still passed the test

My best advise is to have a friend or family mechanic scan the car for free for you for OBD readings before you go . As long as you have 7 out of 8 in the ready state you should be fine.

Not sure where you are located

in same situation...currently on day 2 of driving trying to get all but (catalyst) in ready state since I'm catless. so far just waiting on evap readiness but its still incomplete.

no dp fix here....as soon as evap is complete ill be going straight to the e-test.

running MHD so easy to check readiness frequently.

Were you running the wedge tune at the time or did you flash back to a stock map?
