Question to MorrAlloys
I have had my set of 19" 162 style rims for a while and recently one of them has cracked, badly, beyond repair. How much can I get a replacement for (rear rim).
Why public? I've sent PM's to both Brian@MorrAlloys and MorrAlloys (Carlos, I assume) and haven't gotten an answer for the past 3 days or so. I really need a replacement rim ASAP. |

Well I've heard of their "great" service, but I'm here just getting a replacement, not even blaming them for anything. How are they still in business if they treat customers that way?

Not sure if this helps, but this company has now taken over all the OEM cast reps that Morr had planed. Its also the same company that Morr originally contracted to make their 19" 162's, so hopefully you can get them to make you a replacement.

It's ok, I've decided to shell out a bit of cash and buy myself a different set of rims. I'll go OEM this time and will make sure not to buy from MorrAlloys again.

That's a bit harsh. MORR no longer sells replica wheels. Actually, they stopped buying from us about 2 years ago and we now carry their replica line of products. We have not had a case of a bent/crack 19" 162 wheel since we started making this wheels so this is very strange to us. Every customer that owns a set of 19" 162 can attest to the level of quality this product has. We have a few front wheels as replacements I`ll try to see if we can find a rear wheel for you. PM me though

Hey Alex
We replied to your PM this morning. Sorry we couldn't get to you sooner but we where closed for the holidays until Monday and are now getting up to date with PMs/Emails. We never had a bent/cracked 162 wheel until now. I`m sure it`ll be taken cared of. Alufelgen is now taking care of our replica cast products. Matt from Alufelgen will be glad to take care of this for you. Thanks Matt for the heads up! |
