What shocks to go with

Alrite guys,

I have the H&R Racing springs that I swapped with a co-worker. The car is bouncy now. What shocks should I go with to stiffen the ride?

I dont like the H&R because its too low, but its free so I can't complain. Now I need shocks. Any suggestions?

depends on how much you are willing to spend.

I got Koni yellow and H&R sport spring, and the ride is comfortable.

Koni is a good choice for the upgrade springs. Go with the Yellows if you want adjustable or the FSDs if you want more comfort.

Sounds good, but the issue is I rather buy the Kit. It looks like a better deal. Get to raise the height of the car and get shocks for the same price..

The Eibach Pro Kit/FSD setup will give you a smoother ride that stiffens under cornering. This will be one of the more compliant kits available so if you are after a smoother setup, I'd go with the complete kit.

The Eibach Springs lower the car .8" front and 1" rear.

koni yellows.

iirc, the koni fsd's don't work well with h&r sports, so i can't imagine them working well with h&r race.

H&R used to make a "Cup" kit and they partnered with Blistein. I love my shortened Bilstein sports on my track car. Consistent, no need for adjustment, not too stiif, good control, great valving setup, long lasting, etc, etc, etc...

I choose Bilstein

OP, I would recommend either KONI Yellows or FSDs hands down. This is of course dependent on what you like to do with your car. Yellows allow for damp adjustability so that you may fine tune the damping to your liking. FSDs are set right out of the box for a comfortable ride that will stiffen up when you need it.

No, FSDs (Frequency Selective Damper) can be considered self adjusting, almost like a progressive spring depending on the driving condition.

They still make the cup kit. You can get them farily cheap on modbargins.com
