Dash Cam Installation

Hello, I would like to get a Dash Cam installed and wired. Can anyone recommend a shop that would get this done? Any idea on what the costs might be for this setup?

i've had too many experiences with idiot drivers in the past few days, so i would like to protect myself in case....(most recent: this moring i had an airport taxi cut me off on the gardiner and slam his brakes in front of me for NO reason at all. ZAH 94 was his plate number...I called the company this morning and requested this driver to pick me up from a motel in oshawa this afternoon as payback. lets see wut happens.)

anyways, if anyone has info on the Cam, please let me know!

Lockdown Security in Markham. Talk to Jeff. You can buy dashcams from them too.

It's really not that difficult if you want to DIY. Assuming its a 12V dashcam, just run the wire throguh the headliner and down the A pillar, and into the fusepanel. You can buy fuse taps at Princess Auto and tap into the cigarette lighter fuse. There is a grounding bolt under the carpet in the passenger footwell. Takes about an hour.

You don't need to put it through the headliner.

Just tuck the wire in the gap between the top pillar & the windshield,
then run it around & down the A pillar liner, to the fuse panel. The fuse panel is located in the glove box. Use a credit card or something similar to help you tuck the wire into the liner.

I've done hardwiring installations for your model, it's actually really easy. Shops will charge you $60+ for something you can do yourself in less than 40mins.

I'd help if you were in Vancouver :/
