It is absolutely a nice car if you enjoy manual turbo cars. Power wise a stage3 335i could kill it easily, but M is M. 135/335 wouldnt never reach the level of handling of any M cars (including the 1M).

You might not be allocated one if you put down your cheque on BMWHK now.

Which part of 1M is too big?
I can't really think of similar cars in the same class that is apparently smaller than 1M.
