Don't have to get pissed... I ordered mine on 9/3 !! Much earlier than you guys but now our cars are on the same vassel...

I get confirmation from my dealer that my car is on a ship that departed on the 27th. He said he has no way of knowing the name of the ship, which I find weird...many people on the board were informed by their dealers about which ships their cars were on.

However, I don't think there are multiple vassels that carry BMW from Germany to the west coast everyday, I am pretty sure our cars are on Kassel.

ETA at VPC: November 24th.

I think it depens on the color, different color have different production date, that's why i changed to SG. But kt157, you just have to wait couple more days to save couple hundred $$$ more than me. I think you got a better deal. right? wchew?

I think your car should be on Hojin now, that ship is much bigger than Kassel. ETA for that ship is 12/02/05. Kassel has 2 days delay tho. So maybe we have same day to pick up our car.

i just checked OC and the 1800 number and finally my car is on a ship to the westcoast. its been over 2 weeks since my car was completed. i just donno which ship and whats the ETA. if you guys let me know, i'll be calling my salesman later to check and let him know i dont want a front plate.
i donno if im happy thats its coming or sad i need to wait another 4weeks until i can pick up.

All I could find for the West Coast Ships is:

Golden Ray 2 (NYK-LINE) that shipped on 11/3/05 and scheduled for port in Port Hueneme on 11/30/05.

Does anyone know if this is the boat our cars are on?

hey guys. FYI, ordered my SG 325i in or around 9/15. production started and ended sometime in OCT. I live in San Digeo CA

called the CA dude to see if he heard anything.. this is what he says:

ship left for oxnard ca. on OCT 27th.
ship is tentatively scheduled to be in Oxnard by Nov 22.
then "10 days" for prep then i should able to drive it home.

so thats what he says.. he doesnt know what shipping vessell its on though.

Just got an email from my dealer. Mine was completed mid October but is scheduled to arrive in Port Hueneme on Dec. 3. Usually takes 7-10 days after that to get to the dealer.

they get cars to west coast slow i see...

i ordered mine on 10/19 and its docking in ny on 11/18

Depends on how far your dealer is from the VPC. My dealer told me today that the ship's scheduled to arrive on the 12th and should be at the dealer no later than the 18th.

alright.. finally got confirmation from my dealer that my car is heading towards VPC.. he said with any luck.. the car will be at the stealer-ship this Friday.

also the OC website finally states it is heading towards the prep-center.

i don't think that will be the case for wchew and me, because dealer called me said the car will be at dealer at 27, i can pick it up at 28. hahaa and kt157, make sure you get it asap when dealer call you, because they are giving out the sold car for some of the customer to test drive (they give me the sold car to test drive!!!)
