Best dealer in the Portland/Seattle area?
My main concern is price, followed by service, then location. I'm living in Portland, but would buy from anywhere within a reasonable drive for the right price. Anyone have any thoughts/experiences?

If you are mainly concerned about price then go to Delon BMW in Salem or Kuni in Beaverton (in that order). I personally went to Rasmussen as they were the most responsive to all of my queries before I even stepped into a dealership (I never called Delon as Salem was to far for me.) So far my experience at Rasmussen has been good. Hopefully I'll be taking delivery within a week.

I had a great experience with Rocky Matranga at BMW Seattle. Courteous all the way, prompt and responsive. Available to answer any questions I needed. I needed a quick turnaround on an ED order and he delivered with promptly contact BMW europe the next day ( I went in to the dealership on a Sunday). While the deal was probably not the ED deal of the century, it was still a very respectable one, I didn't want to haggle and he reached closure quickly but continued to follow through until I was satisfied.

I used to hate Kuni, but they are MUCH better now in the new location. When I purchaced my 01 M-roadster, the service department was a disaster. The never had loaners available and they actually damaged my car twice while in service, though they were honest about it and fixed the issues promptly. That said, they are great now. Since moving to the new location, I have nothing but praise for the service and sales aspects. It really has been night and day.

We open an hour earlier then Kuni everyday and although our stated time for close is 6 we're always willing to work later and anytime by appointment! I was there until 8 last night and officially we close at 5 on Saturdays but we NEVER turn customers away.
However if you're browsing on Sunday I guess you go to them, and then come to us when you make the deal |

I don't know any dealers in Portland area, but I would imagine you should get good service for the price you pay for right?!

I got my M3 from Rasmussen, and my family is getting an E93 from Rasmussen too. Not to mention Ty is a great guy, I don't see why you wouldn't go to them. We went to test drive a 335i at Kuni (on a Sunday) and the salesman was very nice, just not very prepared and not very helpful for lack of a better word.
Rasmussen Cookies > Kuni Only thing I can't stand about Rasmussen is the damn Mini Coopers next door. |

BMW Bellevue.
Not to sound biased, but we DO have the largest inventory, and we DO sell the most BMW's per month. I'm a new member here, and have been on bimmerforums for a month or so. Our remodel will be done April 15th, expect the nicest dealer in this part of the country, with a full coffee bar and wi-fi throughout the store. PM me if you need a deal done. I'm VERY aggressive in getting deals done for enthusiasts. |

My vote is Kuni. They were the ones that came up with the best price for me, and go out of their way everytime I stop in (sometimes only for a free espresso) I shopped every dealer in Oregon and Washington. :-)

Try BMW of Eugene -- they are willing to negotiate. The contact person there is Sam Hill.

Had a fantastic time at BMW Seattle. From beginning to end it was actually fun. They are moving soon which will be nice because they are just crammed into their current location.
I got treated very well from the beginning, no attitude, no head in the clouds bullshit or looking down their noses attitude. Just enthusiastic and wanting to help. No strong arm tactics just a great experience. Hell, Delivery last Wednesday the 28th of March was actually a lot of fun. This is WITH a trade in, and while the whole delivery process did last right about 3 hours it was a genuine good time. Surprised the hell outta me. I knew I was going to be treated right, but I DIDN'T know it was possible to have fun signing your life away on a new car. I had heard some pretty spooky things here on the web about SeattleBMW but I'm here to tell you that London and Winter were awesome and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I work for a similar industry, and I know what a good or bad experience and dealership looks like, pretty sure whatever problems they were having have been fixed. -Not a paid Endorsement, comments made are mine alone, mileage may vary depending on your attitude, enthusiasts only, emblem drivers should shop at Mercedes.- He He, just kidding.- They really were top notch, very accommodating, and transparent.

If price is main concern, I can back up BMW of Bellevue. I did a rizzo method to all the internet sales guys and most of the offers were pretty lame so I didn't even start down the negotiation road. Bellevue's was $1k better off the bat. Still def wasn't a 500 over invoice deal, but I didn't expect it.
Service is another matter. But since you're in Portland, it's moot. As a side little jab, I've owned cars from a lot of different manufacturers, and of all of them BMW of Bellevue's service has been at the absolute bottom. Including the domestic dealers I've been to. It's so bad, they don't even bother calling me for the follow up survey anymore. |

Just got a 335i sedan from BMW of Eugene. Pretty smaller dealer but so far the service has been great and they've treated me well. They were very relaxed and didn't pressure me at all.
