this is what I suggested over at strictlyea

Here's my suggestion. On Sunday January 17 at approx 1000 hours you meet at the Neiman Marcus at La cantera behind Six flags. That should be early enough to have plenty of parking plus the roller coasters give a good back drop. Then you proceed to Highway 16 towards the town of Bandera. You take Park Road 37 to start a nice spirited drive, and continue towards bandera. You can opt to stop in Bandera for lunch if you haven't already done so. After that there's a nice route you can take 337>187>470. Its a loop so it'll take you back to Bandera. The drive itself should take around 1-2 hours I think. The main concern is that gas stations are scarce. And to end it, I'm not sure if you want to do this or not, there's suppose to be a local bmw meet every sunday at a chilis. You can roll by there to end the day if you want.

Miiight be able to do that... I have a big exam on Jan 21 tho... but seems like this is a good date for everyone... I can at least meet up, but might have to opt out of the cruise =/

Well strictlyea.com hasn't really jumped at the idea. I say we go with Oct's plan. It seems to be well thought out. Everyone check in and let us know how you feel about the 17th.

I'll need to change my plugs before the meet (misfire at high boost). Anyone have a BMW plug socket I could borrow?

This sounds good to me.

Just drove the route, it actually takes more like 3 hours to complete. Some good turns and plenty of fast straights. Got up to 140mph before my brain told me to stop. Killed plenty of bugs with my windshield and my bumper. Did it without needing to get gas so I don't think that'll be an issue if everyone tops off before hand. I think this will be a prety good route

Pretty sad.

I'm new to SA and BMWs are no where near as abundant as in SoCal!!

I've been following the thread, just been to lazy to post...

Hopefully, I can free up the 17th and if so, I'll make it!
