Ouch... my eyes. I couldn't bring myself to do that, even if that's what the customer wanted.

So I want to get Technic's harness so I can add to my OEM L7 system, but I need to know what's the minimum output I'd need to have it blend with the stock and still handle the low end with some aggression? I see the JL 250 - is 250w loud enough to penetrate into the cabin and blend withe the L7?

Trying to figure out the basic entry into completing the stock system with balanced low end.

Also think of adding a tweeter to your center. Its pnp. 250 should work nicely to blend. Wont overpower.

It is always woofer dependent. We use a 250W amp on our Level One for the E90 and E92 with the ID10 and 12 in our OE-Look corner-loaded enclosures, but for other woofers that isn't enough.

The JL W3 likes 400 watts (4 ohm woofer and the 600/1 yields 400W) and can outrun the stock system. That's Level Two, sounds like it might be what you mean. But remember, corner loaded enclosures are louder than boxes sitting on the floor of the trunk...

I think I read your thread about easy DIY with the tweeter moved up front. That is first on my list. Just, do you take the rear left or right tweeter?

I think I might try the SWS under seat upgrade with 200-300w first and see what that does for me.

Specs for the SWS say 150w each, so I assume I'd need 300w to feed the both of them unless I'm missing something.

Well, you're equating power rating with need, which is a common false equivalency, and apparently you're planning on running them in mono, which I didn't get prior.

What do you suggest I use to run just the 2 SWS's and blend with stock L7?

Does anyone know where I can buy a custom fit subwoofer box to go into the trunk (either in the corner or under the mat) for a 2011 coupe?
