Anyone has done an ED on BMW 3 series. Are there discounts?

I recall reading about a Toronto member doing ED for a 335is a while back and stating that he didn't save anything, only the US buyers are getting discounts. I suspect it has to do with differences in the tax / duties between the countries and how Canadians always get screwed over. Things may have changed since then though so it never hurts to ask BMW Canada directly.

I understand Canada does not get any discount like the US for ED. What I was asking is whether we get the regular discount i.e. 5 to 6% off on ED

Thanks for the reply. Based on the research that I have done, this was the impression that I was getting.

I am now curious is Canada will give any discount for ED as if I was buying the car in Toronto

I inquired about ED early this year and actually dealer can give discount as if you are buying car in Toronto. ED is all about an awesome experience having your car delivered in BMW Welt, use it while you are in Europe and a chance to drive it in Autbahn.

Still a no, it all depends on how you haggle the dealer, but just by doing the ED it doesnt "guarantee" a discount. The reason I got my discount is because I haggled, just like buying a car from the lot.

Think of the ED as an unforgettable experience not a way to save you money.

WOW, back in '08 when I ordered my M3, there was ED delivery pricing that would have "paid" for a trip over. Too bad it's no longer offered.

They did on cash purchases. that time ED was only for cash purchases. But you should still be able to get a paid trip if you get a 7 Series.
