I have the one for the 330 and it sits lower than my stock lever did. My shifts are short and smooth. It also took 25 minutes to install.

Pics Pics Pics!!! I finally got them. Stupid weekday crap keeping me from spending quality time with my baby.......

The pics are of Neutral, 1st and 2nd. In that order. If anyone wants to try to replicate the shots with a stock setup for comparison purposes, it would be much appreciated! I rested the tape measure on the armrest near the back. The tape is running even with the driver's side of the arm rest. It hits the AC controls just inside of the driver's temp knob (non-iDrive). If you want to replicate it and that's not making sense, hit me and I'll take a pic of it or try to explain it better or something....

Here's another set. I rested the camera near the back of the arm rest. The order of the pictures is N, 1, 2, 5, 6. Once again, if anyone could replicate this in a stock car it would be pretty dope. Or one with the official BMW short shift knob so we can compare the ///M knob

that is pretty weird that the shifter leans so far away from you in neutral. Do you think the tech installed is in the wrong orientation? ie it's rotated 180 degrees

I have the non-335 SSK. I'll try to recreate your pics if I can.

Nice pics. I'm thinking you're right and my shift lever might be installed backwards (rotated 180). My SSK has a distinct rearward bias that yours doesn't. I remember one of the DIY threads for the shift arm only kit cautioned that installing it backwards would give it a rearward lean. I can't find the thread right now, but I'm pretty sure that's what it said. Next time I go down to my parent's house I'm going to try turning the shift lever around to see what it feels like that way. It'll probably be a while, but worth a try when I can get to it.

I'm also thinking the shift arm part of my kit raises the whole works. It looks like my shift knob and yours are about the same height once all is said and done, however, my shift knob it a good 1/2"+ shorter than stock.

I'm pretty sure it's the 328 kit. I'll check the part number.

easy way to tell, people say the 328 kit makes the lever sit a little higher than stock and the 330 kit sits a little lower

If I were you, don't buy a CDV delete. Just take out the CDV and plug the hoses in together. It works better than having a CDV delete.

you can save $$ and just buy the lever (and clip) if you already have the msport knob; it's not that hard of an install either --- someone mentioned 3hrs of labor?!
