Having trouble installing FF wires 11 N55

Trying to install flex fuel wires on my friends N55.

Having a problem.

Once everything is connected the car runs weird, half check engine light. SES light.

When you hit the buttons down to go into the JB4 menu the car stumbles and stalls after a couple of seconds.

I went over the wiring 3-4 times, re-did the connector a bunch of times. The car runs perfect when the stock harness is plugged in. Once it's connected to the JB4 harness..it gets all screwed up.

I changed the "Fuel Open Loop" to 50 on the JB4 interface. What that correct?

Any help would be great. Thank you

Did you update the firmware and cut the diode for ISO? Not sure if you can run FF wires w/o updating the jb4 firmware and changing all recommended settings for ISO. I did mine all at once, without being ISO FF wires really aren't needed unless boosting more than 16 psi from what I understand. Also I had a similar issue when one of the pins on the job harness was slightly backing out and causing a CEL. Looked connected when I went over all the wiring but when I dis connected harness and pulled on wires individually I saw the loose pin. Hope that helps

Did you connect tthe two green wires coming from the harness (that you cut) together?. Alot of people just cut them and leave them and dont connect them together.

That and make sure you cut and intercepted the other wires correctly. It is possible to screw both of those up. I think I put this on your FB post too.

Just so you know, you do not have to be ISO for FF wires to work or be useful.

Sounds like something isn't wired properly - or maybe the connections aren't clean.

Are you positive that the diode was cut?

Are you sure that you have the pin going through the correct hole?

Words are good. They help explain your intentions. Instead of "bump" you could have said "what did you find out with this?" So people didn't wonder WTF you are talking about since the point where the thread left off was in the middle of troubleshooting.
