Interesting stuff. I didn't realize Car Magazine had tested the 320d SE against a Ford Mondeo with the 320d coming up short. I used to read Car Magazine religiously but got out of the habit as more and more car stuff went online. Plus it became a bit too glossy and a bit too arty for my taste.

I couldn't make much out in the video. To be honest I don't think the F30 will be that different in appearance to the E90 If the F10 is anything to go by. Sure it's a lovely car but it pretty much looks like a pumped up Lci e90. One of the interior shots did hint that it will still have an awkward double bump for iDrive.

True, saw an E90 LCI in silver and an F10 in the same colour parked side by side. Both M sports, they were hard to tell apart. Good for LCI owners as the cars wont date as quickly as the pre LCI models.

Heres hoping for non run flats and a better stock sound system on the F30, but I wouldnt hold my breath. The 3 cylinder engines sound a bit grim too.

The F10 could be having some competition in the next few months as the Jag XF will be available with a 4-pot 2.2D engine, similar to that on the Mondeo, but positioned north south, although the emissions no doubt will be higher.
