What is Umnitza retrofit?

I have a stock 06 325i..with halogens and no angel eyes.

1) To get Umnitza retrofit, should I send in my stock headlight assembly?

2) Or just pay 700USD and they will ship a new assembly with retrofit?

3) Also, by reading older posts, Umnitza refers to it as plug & play but lot of folks had to do coding to reset errors.

TIA

Yeah just what Simon said, it's a full retrofitted new headlight.

And 06-07 carputers are extremely sensitive.. That's why they coded it out, they didn't have to but if they wanted to have NO errors on the dash then they would.

I have an 08 and my headlights from ummitza should be here by the 30th.. I'll see if mine are extremely sensitive too but from what I've heard 08 isn't.

Umnitza told me that they can retrofit the FX-R into OEM headlights but that it's a lot more work and more costly. You might as well go the Projector90 FX-R route from Umnitza, because it's very inexpensive, some of the best Angel Eyes on the market, better beam pattern and sharper cutoff than OEM xenon, and you can also get LED integrated turn signals. Win, win, win!

I have a 2006 325i, and it was not an error-free plug-and-play retrofit. I had to do a lot of coding to fix the errors, but the errors CAN be fixed. My headlights work perfectly now. Basically you just have to code the car for xenon and code out the headlight bulb checks and headlight error messages. It's a piece of cake.

I got it from ConstructAuto... It's the Hartge style front lip. PITA to install, so I had someone urethane glue it to the front bumper, a professional body shop. It's very nice quality... A flexible fiberglass polymer.
