During our pipe and slippers drive today we were discussing the next UK Meet and that we should aim to have one before the end of August if possible

So please vote which weekends work for you and we can make arrangements once we know the date and numbers...

Expect the meet to be in the Buxton/Matlock area of Derbyshire as this is is a central location and location of all past UK Meets...

So come on... SIGN UP!!

Woohoo! YAY! Sounds great Can I come along? Seen as I gatecrashed the last one I'd love to know I was welcome on this one lol!

Derbyshire is the only county for a car meet, of course

Let me suggest a couple of venues,

1. Matlock - Would be fantastic, loads of great driving roads not too far, the Cat ain't that far and the delights of the A515 playground not far also it's a great night out, or can be if you have the right attitude to it, play in the arcade buy some sweets then off to Rendevous for chic tapas, Monk for the cocktails, then off to Harveys. Matlock is fab Loadsa photoshoot places too and I know all the empty roads

2. Buxton - was a great venue last time!

3. Bakewell - Lovely town with some great great roads!! Tres chic and gorgeous cakes lol!

4. Chesterfield AKA Chesvegas way hey lol - On the door step of great roads, the M1 for access too so you can't miss it Loadsa places to stay, top notch night out too...

OR

What about Cheshire, darlings!!

5. Wilmslow / Alderley Edge - Just the other side of the Cat, great access to great roads though perhaps not quite so good as Buxton. Plenty of gorgeous places to stay, lots of great places to eat, drive and drink though not all at the same time! Gives me an excuse to stay over rather than going home reallllllllly late lol!

I'll be in the Motorcyle road racing capital of the world until the last weekend in July. After that though no problem.

Woohoo! You taking a motorbike? OR the Touring?

Still looks like August 16/17th as everyone can make it We'll have to have a little convoy like last time though I trust that boo will have his M3 and SerJames will have his car? Making at least four vroooom vroooom will be good fun! Just remember my car VMaxes out about 120 ...

It's at times like this I wish I'd repaired and kept my Boxster S so I could annoy you boys that can't go quicker than 155 in your BMWs with ikkle sports car fast than you lol!!

No SatNavs this time as they don't work in the MX

Why are you discussing the August bank holiday weekend? Its not an option in the poll so stick to the dates on offer.

lol, August bank holiday is ALWAYS last weekend in August. The 16th/17th August is clearly not the last weekend so no need to worry...!

It will be in the Touring. However, there are quite a few driving roads with James' favourite speed limit (as fast as you dare).

Woohoo! Sounds fun!

That used to be my favourite speed limit too, until I pushed the Boxster S to past 160 naughty naughty lol and then thought about what if the coppers had seen me, that I'd get banned since then I've been good, though I do drive a car with a top speed of 120 lol!

I wouldn't mind making one of these eventually but have a trip to see the outlaws in Sweden at the end of July/ 1st week of August and then have an ACL reconstruction to look forward to on 13 August . So mid July or 9/10 August is best ......
