a good friend of mine, that usually works on all of my friends cars. I trusted the guy to do my susupension, walnut blasting, and maintenance. On my 325i and my 135i.

He can also be vouched by many others on here. Hes trying to start up the funds for his own garage, so he can easily meet you at his place or yours, whatevers easier.

We all know how expensive valve cleaning is if we go through a shop or dealership too. They also do a spotty job

But shoot me a text!

As far as I know, there are different methods to do the walnut blasting. Which one does your friend use?

Does he have the high pressure vacuum that slips over the valves as well?

I'm having the procedure done this coming Thursday with the guy Andy is recommending. I will post before and after pics. If you run a tune on your car (which accelerates the carbon deposits left on the valves) and have more than 30K, this is possibly the best thing you can do to preserve the performance of your car. My car has 66,xxx miles with JB2. At first it was great, but then I started to notice hesitation, especially under heavy load/boost. I took it to BMW Seattle and BMW Northwest, and both quoted me $800+ for walnut de-carb.

As you can imagine, I can't wait to drive the car after the procedure, as most who had the service done said that the difference was night and day.

I'll be looking to get this done here in the next couple of months, I'll probably give him a call.
