I am hoping for same, that we get the cars by next weekend. It has been a long painful wait for me. I wanted to buy the car in 06 but remained on the sidelines due to infamous fuel pump problem. Only recently I decided to F* with it and take the plunge.

I am hoping 08 335's have the FP issue fixed. This forum is great for mutual support and killing time, when all you can do is wait!

Yes... I know. Just making some fun that the SL is listed as a Diving Vessel and going to Baltimore.

That being said.... the "Pink Gin" is rolling around in SD harbor with the SL. Looks like we might get another Exxon Valdez on our hands.

I think these people on SL are drinking too much Pink Gin. She's disappeared again! Do you guys see her?

These people who names ships are drinking way too much themselves! How do they come up with Pink Gin and Dammom!? And Bob Hope? Who would want a ship named Bob Hope??(Except Bob himself.) Now, I would like a name like Starship Enterprise. But, Bob Hope?? Actually, NYK Lines does a good job with their names, like Sirius Leader, Centaurus Leader, Aegean Leader . . .they've tied up the whole "leader" naming game.

Well... I just looked, she must have gone under again. I can't find the Pink Gin either.... hmm, could they have crashed and sunk to the bottom of the SD harbor?

She's been cloaked for about four hours or more. I haven't seen her all afternoon. I think this ship turns off their AIS when they are in port. She will turn it back on when she departs tonight, but that might be in the middle of the night. We'll have to see. . .

I just checked the whole west coast and she's not showing. I was thinking maybe she sailed without AIS, but I think NYK would get into a lot of trouble. I think they are required to sail with it by law.

Lettuce emergency. Sorry.

Although, my SA called me around 5pm. Told me the ship would be in PH on Saturday, but the car not into the VPC until Monday. Sounds to me that either they will not take the cars off the ship until Monday or the VPC does not work over the weekend. I would also guess that Customs is not around on the weekend. He hopes to have my car to me by the weekend. Hopefully he is leaning toward the side of caution, as you can throw rocks from the VPC and hit the dealership.

Glad you got the lettuce problem worked out.

I am SURE they will unload right away. Time is money for those ships and the port/dock. That ship needs to move on. It is just that your car won't process through customs or VPC until Monday. You really should have it Tuesday, if the dealership is right next door. Wow! How lucky can a new BMW owner be??

I still don't see her this morning. I don't know if that means she's still in SD or if she snuck out in the night. Does anyone know? Abe you might have to take a walk down to the port to see if she's there.
