Can somebody give me some suggestions? Many thanks.

I have been on this website for couple months and I found that people here are very nice and willing to share photos of their bimmer. I enjoy the environment here. I bought a 2009 E92 X-drive. I want to put on some really nice rims since the stock rims are not very unique. Below are my questions, hope someone can give me some ideas:

1. If I don't want to lower my suspension since the road here is covered by snow for 1/2 a year. Should I keep using 17" or should I try 18", which one looks better? Remember I don't want to lower my car, I don't know how it looks if I put a 18" on. Can anyone show me a pic of a E92 with 18" and stock suspension?

2. All the wheels are equiped with pressure sensor, are they wired to the car or through wireless or how do they work? Is there a lots of troubles if I replace the rims my self?

Thank you all in advance.

as for the TPMS. you can buy them and put them on your wheels but I don't know how hard it is?

Thanks for your reply, but do you know if the suspensions are the same for E92 with and without sport package? Cuz I didn't pick sport package and 17" is standard, but yours probabily got sport package and come with 18", what do you think?

TPMS sensors are wireless and have to be within a certain frequency in order to communicate with the DME.

18s will look good. Even 19s will look good with the stock ride height. Don't be skeeerd, just dive in bro

Thanks for your comments. Since the TPMS sensors are wireless, they must need some kind of battery, do they?

I can't wait till the summer comes and put a set of nice rims on. Bro

TPMS does run on a battery but im sure they are a specialized type that can withstand vibration and heat.

When one purchases sensors, one does not also buy batteries separately. They are all enclosed within the TPMS unit and I do not believe that they are user replaceable.
