Thumbs up easiest way to get some gains?

Improving our N51/N52’s performance without spending a lot of money, or on a budget. Easy and cheaper mods until we get to the big boy mods.

You can't really get much. You can get 3 stage intake manifold and a tune. Just get a 335 if you want alot more power Tbh it's the best for the money. And once you're there you can get great gains from jb4 or whatever tune you choose and bolt on mods. If you wanna spend thousands the ESS supercharger is coming soon.

If you wanted a car for renowned power, any NA BMW was a bad decision! That is not what they are about. If you are a speed freak you might as well get a muscle car or 335 as mentioned.

I'm not a speed freak at all, and that was not my intention when I bought the car. My full perception of my 328i was all luxury. I just get annoyed sometimes by women in their F30's or dorks driving Mustangs.

Who cares? Do you win anything by being "faster" than some random car?

No one wins when someone gets injured or is in a collision. What's the point? I just say ahhhh fuck off you idiot. Just ride in style and enjoy the cruise. Or for me, I do go karts. It gets the racing urge out of my system for a while.

Lighter wheels+tires and/or significantly shorter diff ratio may do the wonder.

3 stage intake manifold, intake silicone hose, active autowerks headers, afe mid pipes, bmw pe exhaust, airscoops, euro intake or k&n drop in filter, 18" light weight wheels + tune all of these mods will get you around 220-230 whp and about 210-220 wtq. If you wanna take it a step up which is really all a personal preference is race bucket seats, cf roof ditch some driver weight.

My favorite thing to do to those who always want a green light drag race is: Act like I am willing to participate, then take off like a normal person... Nothing pisses them off more!

wet shot nitrous is the safest and cheapest way. all the members ive seen with that setup are pleased with their setups. only downfall ive noticed to it, is that since you have to gap the spark plugs to a certain spec. the base power when not using nitrous is about a few hp and tq less than stock. not any big deal but just something to let known. but the gains you get when youre hitting that 100 shot haha oh man thats some real shit right there lol

N52 isn't a great modding platform, I've been feeling the same way lately

From everything I've read, as already mentioned, and 330i 3 stage manifold intake + a tune is the best bang for your buck. Last time I checked all the parts for the intake will run you about $1k.

Headers - intake manifold - Tune. Screw the Euro intake box, screw the muffler - you will make 30whp with those parts, which is good on ANY platform.

I think the problem is really expecting bolting random parts on a motor that already comes with everything engineered together to provide some huge magic gain. I'm not sure where this expectation comes from but it's never worked that way except maybe a '70's V8 that came with crummy heads, 2 barrel carb and restrictive exhaust...
