Metal Ring - no idea where it goes

I'm in the process of cleaning my intake valves and I noticed this metal ring at the bottom of the engine bay. I assume it fell out of something when I was pulling things apart, but I didn't notice it when it happened. This is the first time I've taken the intake manifold off, so it's possible that it could have been laying in there from someone's previous work.

My guess is that it has something to do with the charge pipe. It's about 2 1/8" in diameter, about 3/4" wide.

Any help identifying where it came from or where it goes would be much appreciated. Googling "N54 metal ring" didn't provide much.

That's the reinforcement ring for plastic before the throttle body from the looks of it...I believe it's so the screw clamps don't collapse hose.
I'd check there to see if yours is missing or maybe you got some production leftovers
Oops didn't see the tape measurements.....I may be off track so NVM

Yes definitely looks like it came from the airbox. The part where it connects to the inlet tubes.
