18" or 19" wheels
I am in Western Canada and about to order my 335i.
I need someone's input on the wheels. I know with the 335i sport package, it comes with 18" Style 189 wheels. But if I order the car with 19" Style 230 wheels I have to pay an extra $3500 Canadian. WTF ... why can't I buy the 19" wheel as a separate purchase, will it cost more than $3500. I can always sell my new 18" style 189 wheels, right? Does it make any sense to you guys??? Thanks in advance. |

It's $2000 for the sport package and $1500 for the rims. So for $3500 you get more than just 19"

No, you miss my point, if I choose the sport package for my 335i, I have to add $2000, I will get 18" style 189 wheels plus sport seat etc....
If I want the 19" wheels style 230, I have to add $3500 on top of the $2000 which makes it $5500. I was told by the dealer in order to get the 19" wheels, you must buy the sport package. I am saying why a set of 19" wheels cost $3500. rip off.... |

I say get the Sports package with the 18" wheels, and you can order 19" wheels from Tire Rack for less than $1200, and recover some of the cost by selling the original 18" wheels If I were you, I will check with another Sales Agent just to verify that it's not an error on their part, or better still check with another dealer. Also see if you can check online via the BMW website. Good luck. |

You got it all wrong. It's $2000 for the sport package and $1500 for the 19". Not $5500..
2000 + 1500 = $3500 for (sport package + 19") In order to get the 19" you HAVE to get the sport package that's it.. |

IMO the E90 needs a set of 19's. The 18's looked fine on the E46 but the widened wheel arches of the E90's are just begging for a set of 19's.
For the price of a new set of OEMs, why don't you get a set of aftermarket rims. We have almost every set you can imagine from CSL reps to custom DPE wheels to BBS. |
