ADVICE NEEDED: Keep or upgrade?

I would really like some opinions here. My car is an 09 335xi... now hitting 15500k. Never had an accident or no major issues. Just got serviced at Rallye.

Thing is, my warrany is up in Sept... shold I purchase an extended warranty and keep her? Or while still has some value trade her in for a newer model under warranty (not a fan of the F series thou...). Or should I save my $$$ and hope for the best?

FYI these are the mods already done: JB4, minor coding, BMS oil catch can, Injen intake. What would you guys do???

I wouldnt mind getting into an E92 M3 either but then im back with a vehicle almost out of warranty!

I was in the same predicament one year ago exactly with similar mods at the time besides cosmetic stuff. I saved my money, bought more parts, and am hoping for the best! I'll be going to indies if I have any trouble (hope I didn't just jinx myself).

You're kinda better off keeping the car (if it's paid in full) and just use the money for mods / warranty /repairs or get a 335is if you're lucky enough to find one. At the end of the day so whatever you feel the best with

maintenance will always be cheaper than newer car payments.

it seems like the vehicle has very little miles so keep it as long as you can and save the money.

Assuming it's your daily, that's a gamble you'll have to take. I guess it's really about how much ext warranty costs vs the general work that would needed to be out of pocket costs. Then if your a diy, you save some money there and then it's all a gamble if something big goes wrong. Then how much does peace of mind cost knowing no matter what you're good for x amount of years longer.

I faced the same this past May and I decided to go without extending the warranty. I am, if not a couple friends are solid diy on Bmw and it's not my daily. The car sits more than 3/4 the week and no winter at all except on a decent day to stretch the legs. So I felt it would be worthless to buy into an ext warranty when as far as general maintenance goes, by the time it's over it would of maybe covered an oil and brake change.

tough choice i was wanting to sell my car because my warranty went out but decided to keep it a bit more...plus your car has really low miles for a 09 my friend has a 09 with 60k on it haha...and if you were to get a M3 just keep in mind insurance rates will go up
