My fronts still have 6-7/32's left with "S" clearly visible, which is the reason I kept them and only replaced the rears, now I'm not so sure that was such a great idea, sure it saved me a few bucks but driving the car right now is thoroughly unpleasant...
I'll wait at till at least 500 miles, if it doesn't improve by then I'll probably replace the fronts. Thanks everyone for your help! |

when i bought my car it had potenza rft on it. i drove it on a highway and the car felt stable even on 100mph. So i switched to non-rft DWS 06 and car felt SO loose. so i did the alignment and it didn't help. i replaced the shocks (it was the time anyway) and the car is still feel loose. i put about 2k miles on a tires and I still don't like how the car drives.
So any speed over 50 mph and its not sraight road i really dont like the way the car acts. what else it could be? or it needs a few more K before the tires gonna do their job? |

The car's original suspension is tuned with RFT tires (really stiff sidewall). Any tire with less stiff sidewalls (most non-RFTs) will make the car feel looser.

I have DW on my car and since day one they grip so good. I think the DWS are not so good since they are all season tires.

Yeah, it was definitely the tires. Tires are a HUGE component of the way this car handles (or for any sports car, for that matter)

thank you all guys for a respond. ill leave it like it is and will see how it drives after another 2k. Im glad i live next to the mountains and not a highway. So i dont drive it over 70mph too often
they grip good! on a speed 20-50 in tight corners the tires hold really good. i just don't feel the stiffness of the car on a higher speeds like it was on RFT |
