Depends on the chip. Most support at least 10,000 write cycles, usually much much more.

Terry says that you can rewrite and program this chip as many times as you want.

Technically he's wrong, but practically, well ok...

This really sounds like a good chip I just wish that the JB3 incorporated a speed delimiter!! How hard would it be to adjust the JB3 software to remove the speed limiter?

Also Im all for a better longer power curve. I think the best power curves are the ones that get to the peak horsepower the fastest and hold it out to the redline the longest. I think shooting for peak power is just a dyno queen, but i think the 1.4 software is heading in the right direction!! Great job keep up the good work!!

Are there more people that have tested this Beta? I just wanted some more feedback before I swap out the chips.

Check out the compressor maps. This is not about tuning, but more about not overspinning the turbos at high rpms. It is simply a necessity until we get larger turbo options.

1.4 already. The last jb3 tune I had was 1.1... I purchased the jb+ more recently and sold it the other day as well. Wonder how this might feel, in terms of performance...

BTW mike, I recall terry mentioning a possibility of the next version of the jb3 to user flashable via the BT cable. Any info regarding tht....
