Turbo Diverter Valve Popped out

Hi All,

Was passing on the highway last weekend when I heard a pop. Looked under the hood to see this:

I just pushed it back into place and it seemed to snap in securely. Haven't had it happen again. I am wondering if anyone has run into this and if it means the seal might not be as tight as it should be.

I was thinking it might be that the shop that did my walnut blasting left it loose.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Yep. When I did my walnut blast,I thought I had secured those but one popped off under boost like yours. I re locked it and it hasn't done it again.

i bet the twist-lock wasn't rotated and secured properly. If it was and it still came off, it would be broken at the fitting.
