ar catch can help

Hey all I purchased a used ar catch can and I am missing the steel clamps needed to hold the hoses together. Any idea where I can purchase these and what sizes I could use? I emailed AR for a parts diagram but they don't have one.

I think several people here have tested and found that it doesn't work very well, some I think even may have found it does more harm than good, might want to just leave it off.

Are you suggesting Ar Design's specific OCC does more harm than good?

1st time I'm reading something like this. Can you elaborate? Oil Catch cans can do more harm that good?

Not all Catch can's. Just ones that don't flow well enough.

(I'm not saying AR's doesnt flow well enough, I actually dont even know).

As Jeff said... not all catch cans. Poorly designed CC's can have negative effects on the PCV system. There was a long discussion that dzenno wrote up a while back with lots of good info:

here's a comparison i did when i switched my AR occ out for the BMS one....so you decide:

just to be clear....i did NO testing of my own to validate the results of either one. i've read up quite a bit on the results from Big Tom and a few others.....and i just felt more comfortable with a better flowing can...so i took the $220 loss.

After a quick read of Dzenno's thread it seems that both the AR and BMS OCC work just fine
