I just wanted to give quick update.
I went to Sudbury BMW for my routine oil change and DEF refill.
I was welcomed by the service adviser Colleen. She was extremely nice.
Since I did oil change 4000miles ago, my oil service interval was reset and although my car wasn't showing is due for oil change she agreed to do it. I asked no to get carwash either.
Dealership itself is very nice. They have free breakfast bar with girl that makes your coffee. Nice big screen tv, children room and internet stations that you can use if you don't have your computer with you. Overall very pleased with the service.

Highly recommended! I've been going there for the past year and a half and have had nothing but great service. I go directly to Corey as he is the man. From the sounds of the other members, it really doesn't matter who you deal with there and everyone is great. I've even had services that were outside of warranty (crack in the headlight casing which lead to water on the inside of the lens for example) where the SA was able to get the manager involved and greatly reduced my bill! Again, nothing but greatness from this place....

Bad experiences at Sudbury

I had my first car serviced at Sudbury. There were so many issues I swore I must have had a lemon. I traded that car in at the Peabody dealership. My current 335 is 2 years old and has 30k miles. One morning it wouldn't start so I had it towed to Sudbury which is closer than Peabody. And I had recently got a cold call from a manager who asked me to consider giving them my business again -- that the service department had "changed". I had to call for an update 2 days later. Corey left a vm -- "it's all set". So I get myself there and ask what the deal was. "The computer says you left the key in the ignition for 10 hours, which drained the battery. We charged it overnight so it's good to go." I responded that I did no such thing and I was concerned about the fix. They said they couldn't do anything else based on the tests that they did. So the car started and off I went to dinner with a friend. Upon leaving the gd car doesn't start. I get a jump and head home. Again, won't start in the morning. Decided not to make another mistake by going to Sudbury. Got a jump and headed to Peabody where they confirmed a dead cell and replaced the battery at no cost. Been fine ever since. Never going to Sudbury again.

I guess everyone should just be safe and go with Peabody. I have only heard good things from there and not one bad thing...yet.

I just had a great experience with BMW of Sudbury. Everyone was very polite, professional, and efficient.

They had my car for two days to replace the starter and the HVAC blower motor. All was covered under CPO warranty.

The work seems to have been done well. The service advisors, Colleen and Jim, were very communicative. I was even provided a loaner car (2012 328i) even though I didn't originally purchase my car from them. (Their website says loaners to owners who bought from them only).

I couldn't be happier!

They didn't provide me with a loaner, I had to pay for a rental. Had original warranty, CPO and purchased a different car from them in the past.

Exclamation

Alright.

Bought a new car (9 miles) at BMW of Sudbury from Jonathan Lincoln. Car came with bad rims. Shop foreman tipped me off because he felt "guilty about it". He explained someone else came in with a similar car and got his rims upgraded. They put his old bent rims on my new car right before I received it.

The car shook horribly over 50mph. It would vibrate cups right out of its awesome cup holder. (I really like the e90 2011 cupholder).

So I brought it back. It took me 4 attempts to get them to fix it. After they fixed it. They let a kid drive it home to "Diagnose the bad rims" When I got it back. It's alignment was way off. The car pulled to the left.

The Clutch slipped and Transmission 2nd gear would grind.

The owner called me and pretended to act like a stereotypical mob boss and told me he'd "buy me a tank of gas". It's a good thing I topped off the car before heading in.

I asked them to fix it, they did not honor their warranty.

After hitting up a local shop, They removed the CDV valve and it was drivable again. Warranty was useless to begin with.
TL;DR - BMW of Sudbury damaged my Transmission / Clutch after selling me a brand new car with bad rims from another vehicle.

I avoided this dealership like it was Ebola ridden.

Meh. I'd rate them alongside decent Honda dealerships that I've used. Not great but decent.

I live near Sudbury and prefer to take my BMWs to Tulley or Peabody. Which are a bit of a trek for me.

I liked Peabody until they screwed me on a BMW CCA discount that I should have got. They gave me 10percent off parts when the club told me it should have been 20. Thus was for a trailer hitch I had them install on my x5.

The club asked me for the receipt but I'd thrown it away so I gave up. To be fare to Peabody I didn't call them back to question it so it may have been an honest mistake, it was like 80 bucks worth. But this instigated me trying out Tulley. I've taken my x5 and 335 there 3 times now and have had great experiences on all three occasions. So for now it's Tulley for me.

Sudbury is awful, I purchased our 328xi from there, never again. Went up to Tulley in Nashua for the M4, the extra 15 minute drive is worth it considering how much better they were in both sales/service.

I'll give a quick review regarding my experience in Sudbury.

I purchased my car back in May 2014, a 2011 328i X-Drive with 45K miles, CPO warranty, Space Gray Metallic, Chestnut Brown interior. The buying experience was friendly, however, it was very drawn out and the paperwork took incredibly long to process.

I had brought the car back in for service in the beginning of September to have an issue with the brake rotors fixed. When I originally bought the car, there were symptoms of severe glazing on all four brake rotors. They had assured me that if it did not "wear off" after a few hundred miles of driving that they would have them "fixed". Unfortunately, after 4000-5000 miles on the car since purchase, the rotors had not improved and the glazing was still on all four rotors.

This was an issue that needed to be fixed at their facility because its was originally agreed that they would fix it. Living in Western Mass, this resulted in 3 hour round trip and roughly a week without my car. I was given a rental through enterprise (Chevrolet Malibu), not a BMW loaner. The rotors were turned-down and re-surfaced at their facility, however, they did not replace the brake pads. The issue was resolved and I got my car back about 5 days later, free of charge.

It wasn't until I returned home to find a few spots that were clearly damage done while at the dealer. Although these may seem like minor instances of damage from the images, it is still no excuse and not acceptable from a BMW dealer, especially of that caliber. Simply put, I will be using BMW of West Springfield from now on.

I feel your pain but I'm not sure why you need to spam this forum. One post is enough.

Post a quick review about the damage on their google maps & yelp page & herbchambers.com

Then definitely file a complaint
1. bbb.gov
2. ftc.gov
3. mass.gov/ago (Attorney General)
4. Consumer Assistance office of Metro West (508) 651-8812 (near you)

I didn't deserve to have my car abused/damaged.

Neither did you.

Send me a PM with your info, I'll do whatever I can do to help.
