Independent BMW Service Garage - Uxbridge Area?
Hi All
A mate of mine at work has just joined the BMW fold with a 2000 year, 316i. He’s looking for a good independent BMW servicing garage in the Uxbridge area. Any good recommendations? Many thanks;

I would personally suggest taking it to Munich motors out in Berkshire
They really know their stuff! http://munichmotors.co.uk/index2.html Coopers Cobham are the best by far in terms of stealers though, if you wanted to go the main dealer route.

Birds in Iver, two miles from Uxbridge.
Www.birdsauto.com The ONLY independent I would trust with my car (that is close to Heathrow). They have done all the work on my car and on many other forum members' cars too. Contact SerJames or SoYank for their thoughts and experiences

Its a personally created website for a tiny independent workshop. They might not win any design prizes etc but I don't think they are trying to??

Has anybody any comments on Stephen James Bromley?
Oil changes for engine and brake system for a Mini Cooper (driving whilst awaiting delivery of 320D M-Sport) cost me recently £305 At reception I said 'this is excessive' they said it was'nt. Is £305 about right? Cheers! |

£125 to drop the oil & supply/replace the filter? Criminal!
My god, I should open up an auto workshop.

I can vouch for this having used Birds. They've gotta be the choice for anyone in that area. |

In my Dealer Principal days I used to run our High Wycombe branch - Andy the Service Manager is the best in the business and his team are first class- Do you want me to get him to contact you? He was also the first dealership in the network to offer price matching. ( took quite some time to persuade me!)
However if you are totally against using BMW Dealers then I would also recommend Birds - Doug at Wycombe supplies him his parts! |
