Group interest BMW performance Exhaust

Hey guys, it is me again but on a different topic of interest. I have spoken with Evan at Tischer about starting a group buy for this wonderful exhaust. I don't know if it was just me, but I was a bit saddened when I found out that the stock 328i coupe exhaust was no where near as audible as the N54 exhaust.

I had the luxury of seeing and hearing this exhaust up close and in person. The exhaust is louder than I thought it would be; seeing how this is a OEM upgrade. I don't mean it in a bad way either. The exhaust has a nice throatty deep tone.

I have also seen the skematics of this exhaust. It is more than just the muffler compenent. I don't know if you all saw the video of the European guy with a black E92 325i M sport pkg that bought this exhaust and BMW intake. It isn't the same. The euro one only comes with a muffler.

Having said that, lets get a list going. We will need to organize this list by body type and vehicle trim level. Please copy, paste, and add your name to the list as well as put your trim level right of your name.

Price is not yet firm. We will need to get enough people interested first.

I kinda doubt it when we'll match and in most cases beat any other BMW dealership's pricing.....even the under-cutters.

I believe BMW states 5hp gain.

Is this a DIY thing or do we need someone professional to install this?

This exhaust requires cutting the stock pipes. For the 1 series, there is a clamp that comes with the exhaust and you just clamp this to the old exhaust.

I ended up getting the Injen intake. The wait was killing me. Also, the interest level didn't seem that great and I figured it would be a while before an official GB for that would take place. Even though this looks nice, I wanted to get an intake that would sound great and perform well at a good cost.

As for this exhaust, it would defiantely go well with the intake system I have. We just need some more folks that want in.

I was quoted 1.5 hours of labor at BMW of Naperville, IL. BMW of Huntsville's shop rates are $95/hr; so I am looking at ~$143
