I don't think it's a good idea to adjust the UT to 88% with the 10-9 maps... The default UT-value is now 80% compared with 85% on the old 9-9 maps.
That's why i'm asking this.
I carried these values over to 10-09 as well and all looks good after some datalogs but I would like some confirmation from Shiv if possible as well...

kelvin, if the new datalogs look good then things are fine. What other kind of confirmation do you need? That's the whole point of datalogging, you have confirmation already!

I am not sure if or how the UT and IC settings interact with the new Bogfix features of this map... From what I understand, throttle closure and boost reductions are mitigated with timing control and other variables.

Not sure how they all interact...

but you'll see how they interact in your datalogs... if they look good, then all is well just like datalogging before the bogfix maps. i've adjusted my settings with no issues with the latest maps

What sort of boost are you seeing peak and sustained by tweaking the UT higher than 80%?

JP, I'm 6MT and 2nd gear 'pops' a fair bit like the original beta maps. Sounds mean as hell and there's a fair amount of induction noise. Are you finding the same thing?

I went back to 9-9 after i threw a bunch of codes on a WOT 2-3 shift. The car feels better running it.

The codes were

2C73 - Aftercat O2 sensor bank 1
2C74 - Aftercat O2 sensor bank 2
2A94 - Crankshaft sensor signal
3100 - Air charge control shutdown
2FBE - Fuel Pressure after motor stop
2ABD - Intake pressure sensor re-running
2ABC - Charging pressure sensor, electrical
29E2 - Fuel injection rail pressure sensor signal
2F6C - Exhaust flap input signal ->(This ones from unplugging the flap control relay)
30FF - Turbocharger low pressure side (Probably because it missed a boost target.)

I'm new, so I'm still working out why it would do this. I plan on running it tomorrow and doing some datalogs to get a better idea of whats going on.

Right on.

I was thinking about going back to 9-9, but where can you download the 9-9 maps?? They have been replaced with 10-9 it looks like..

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...light=9-9+maps

That link just takes you to 10-9 beta maps, what if you don't want to run the beta maps?

I used the Proceed only with the new maps since I installed 3 weeks ago, so I have no experience with the previous maps.

I am very happy with beta map 1 (10-9), but I feel that when I shift gears near 7000 rpm, there is a very small lag. Not too perceptive, but I thinks it is there.

Maybe the power decreases very fast past near 7000 rpm...

I found the car faster when I shift near 6500 rpm...

Do you feel this too?

(My car is a 6MT, full stock other than Proceed)

Tried on two different computers and it says the file is invalid. I can't open it but I can open the one Shiv posted in the first page...

FWIW I bet that was from failing to let the ECU sleep before disconnecting the wires.
