Nice work Mr. 5! It takes a lot of work to arrange, set-up, and actually get these "tests" all completed and documented, I think we all owe you a thank you for that.

Great runs! Just about all the comparisons are what I expected.
Engine sounds great, shifts are quick, and the exhaust burble sounds nice on deceleration. Do you have any forward facing in car videos? I'd like to see you quickly you are shifting, back on the throttle, etc.

Lets be realistic...I know jb3 is a tad stronger but a stage 3 proceed car should have held up much better than that. To the driver in the white car what happened...did you confuse the tranny or something?

How do you know that?
I was sure that my car didn't have any problems until I was spanked by E92 M3 (the vid), then I changed my spark plugs and raised UT from 75 to 80: the vid. The difference is quite impressive, and I still had a bad O2 sensor in the second vid. Sorry for the OT, but something is wrong with either your car or your shifting. P.S. Nice vids!

Video shows that E90s are just faster than E92s
It would be useful to see the ESS and LET flashes too, and a stock car in that mix for comps. Great stuff, you SCal folks can get together in herds and have a blast.

That was pretty bad. Did the V3 driver check his oil temps before that run? My car will sit around 246-248 everywhere I go. With the V3 cutting boost after 250, i'm out of luck after a few seconds on throttle or doing one run after another. Either way, impressive stuff from the 2 other parties.

To comment on the DCI, I don't know.
Based on the dynos that I did, the initial DCI run was definitely stronger, but I was expecting there to be some heat soak so maybe I'm wrong when it comes to the DCIs heat soaking on the road. Oh also, I added another parameter to the first post. GIAC Approx 96% full (filled up the night before) JB3 Approx 80% full Procede Approx 98% full (filled up just before the runs)

We now have two other videos showing a Procede car significantly faster than a GIAC. This makes sense, given the large sample of comparison tests we already have demonstrating that tunes with higher boost are faster than tunes with lower boost.
Ya takes yer choice of boost levels and pays yer price. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=297134

Surely we have all learned by now from what seems like the seven years tuner war that power is primarily determined by boost level. Dozens if not hundreds of comparisons between JB3 and Procede have indicated that they are equally fast, one or the other being slightly quicker on one car or octane or timing curve.

Good comparo's Craig, but the AT is just faster it seems, similiar to the DCT vs. 6mt in the M3, but not sure if the gap is as much, of course there's always those times when the 6MT can equal the DCT or AT, but it's rare from what I've seen. You should run another 6MT, like Mote's.
Good runs Craig and the boys, all good guys. Word is the JB3 car on map7 was pretty heads up with the stock C63 in one run, then getting him by a car in the other run, very impressive! Not much into paper racing, but with the Stage 2, I think Craig's GIAC car will run with the C63 as well, and on race fuel take it, an AT car will do even better. I didn't get a chance to run one of the 335's cleanly, but did run the C63, here's a vid. That same day my buddy with the stock C63 went and got the powerchip tune, he made 60whp more with the ECU tune!! Rematches coming soon. Good times!
