BMW Z4 M 18" Stock Wheels style 224??
I see lots of newbies get help from the experts, so here is my question. I got a wicked deal on BMW Z4 M 18" Stock Wheels style 224 with with 225/45ZR18 tires on the front and 255/40ZR18s on the rear.
Will these fit on my 2010 335xi, I don't have the sports package. Thanks to everyone in advance. |

Yes it will fit without any rubbing since you are on original suspension. The only issue is your tires are slightly taller than OEM spec. OEM spec would be 225/40/18 Front and 255/35/18 Rear.

The tires a a number too tall, 225/45 vs 225/40, and I see the fronts are ET42, and that's a bit high. E90 OEM is ET34.

I just purchased a set for a 2006 330xi; should arrive in a week or so.
I concluded that you will need 10 or 12 mm spacers up front. Rear is going to be tight, but I hoping it is OK. Check back with me in a week to see how they are working. |

Here are Style 224, on my 330xi. I used 12mm spacers in the front, no spacers in the back. The tires are the standard size from the MZcoupe which have a diameter about 1 inch bigger than the standard e90 diameter.
225/45/18; 255/40/18 I haven't driven it much yet, but it appears all will be good with no rubbing. 8x18 offset 42 minus 12 mm spacer - effective 30 offset. 9x18 offset 30 |
