Right... all ok now very strange fault that one.
So fully charged the battery again didn't take long as its brand new.. couldn't run a volt meter across it as I don't have one but some apps I have told me the battery was fine. Started the car again and it came up with the same fault again. Read the codes again DME/DDE - 2f0D EGS - CF31, CF33, CF2B, CF32, CF34, CF07 MASK/CCC - C50F, C511 a few less than my previous post but still the same old fault. Reset the codes again and re-read still the same codes and fault. Went for a very short drive and got the same limited acceleration. Reset and re-read the errors another 4 or five times and then all of a sudden the fault disappeared and I now need to press the break to engage the gears.. So now re-read the codes and this time I get the following: DME/DDE - 0000 (240 errors stored) !! MASK/CCC - C511, E1CF Anyone have any ideas why there would be 240 - 0000 codes stored in the DME/DDE...? Hopefully the fault doesn't return but for now thanks for all your assistance 'Sensible_' |

Well the DDE/DME issue is strange. No mechanical symptons i take it? Vehicle drives fine.
Re you CIC error. Can you show a screenshot of your VO from ncsexpert? You should already have VO $654. Im not an expert with CIC retrofits to be honest, might be a good idea to PM Makkan. However I would assume several module would need recoding to default re the above 654 option. With expertmode in ncsexpert id code to default: CAS, NFRM and CIC modules. Then clear codes again. But like I said i have limited experience with CIC. Sorry thats nit more use Last edited by Sensible_; 12-08-2014 at 03:04 PM.. |
