E90 Xenon LED's question

Hi guys, new to this. Had my 325i from new for 2 years with Xenon/adaptive headlights. Re the 3 amber LED's in top corner of light unit, are they meant to be on whenever low/high beam is on? Mine are, but I'm sure they haven't been for the preceeding 2 years!

Either that or I'm going slightly mad.

The car has recently been in for a service.....could this have anything to do with it?

Regards

Shaun
